18 of us in all, in one giant cabin that supposedly sleeps 50 (but I only counted 43 sleeping options...).
DollyWood, Zip Lining, White Water Rafting and family dinners were all on the menu, along with a photography session that was gifted to my step-mom by her daughters. Once there, we threw some creek-exploring and local BBQ, as well as gem-mining for Riley with Uncle Matt and Aunt Alli while the big kids were out zipping down mountains.
Obviously, we were invited mostly for entertainment, as out of the 6 couples, one were the grandparents, two were childless, two had only children, and then there was us - the noisy, ever-moving zoo that took 3 times longer to get ready for EVERYTHING.
As with any vacation, it was way too short, the kids had just figured out a rhythm with the activities offered in the cabin, the hot tub (Indy and Brayden and water guns), the pool table (Chase taking on any contender), the 15-seat movie theater downstairs (Jackson loved this, and Riley watched a few movies down there with him), the kids' log cabin playhouse with the loft on the lower deck, and the outdoor deck for star-gazing at night, making s'mores to the best of our capability in the side of the gas-fireplace.
The photographer was great (http://www.marymasonphotography.com), and the photos rocked.
